Happy Valentine’s Day to all!
All of us at Easter Seals Florida want to send
out big Happy Valentine’s Day wishes to you (yes, YOU)! To start off this
special day, let’s think for a moment about love. It’s interesting that one
simple four-letter word can hold so much meaning and power. Though many times
love is tied to relationship dynamics, the root of its basic meaning is
universal. We dug up a quote we feel really expresses love.

Heinlein’s words are remarkable. Whether
referring to a couple, a grandmother and her granddaughter or even a dearly
loved family pet, love is about selflessness. Love is a way of existing in
which people put others first.
At Easter Seals, we know first hand about
sincere love. From our donors, volunteers and sponsors to the families we
serve, love is overflowing. It is infectious. So this Valentine’s Day, remember
the meaning of love as you see co-workers, friends, family, spouses and even
strangers, putting others first. Make it the most love filled Valentine’s Day
yet.
